Independent web development & hosting, UK
Websites, servers & everything in between.
CRVTech builds websites and web applications, sets up the servers they run on, and handles the technical work that connects the two. Every project is scoped around what you actually need.
Services
Four areas of work that usually end up connected.
A website needs hosting. Hosting needs configuring. Configuration goes better when someone understands the code. Working with one person across all four saves the hand-offs.
-
Websites and web applications built from scratch around how your business works. That might be a clear, fast site that explains what you do, or an application that handles bookings, customers or internal processes. Either way it's built to be quick, accessible and easy to look after.
Can include
- Business and portfolio websites
- Web applications, portals and dashboards
- Booking, ordering and enquiry systems
- Rebuilds of existing websites
- Speed, accessibility and SEO improvements
-
Somewhere sensible for your website, application or project to live. Hosting is set up to suit the job rather than squeezed into a plan, from a single site to a dedicated server for something more demanding.
Can include
- Website and application hosting
- VPS and dedicated server setup
- Domains, DNS and email configuration
- SSL certificates
- Backups
-
The systems behind the scenes, configured properly. Servers set up securely, deployments that don't depend on someone remembering a list of steps, and networks that do what they should.
Can include
- Linux server configuration and hardening
- Deployment and CI pipelines
- Networking and firewalls
- Monitoring and alerts
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting
-
For work that doesn't fit neatly into a category. Connecting systems that don't talk to each other, automating a repetitive job, or getting a straight answer about the right way to do something technical.
Can include
- API and third-party integrations
- Scripts and automation
- Technical advice and consulting
- Ongoing support and maintenance
- Anything else technical. Just ask.
Approach
Straightforward to work with, by design.
No account managers, no packages and no jargon you didn't ask for. This is what working with CRVTech looks like.

About
Independent, on purpose.
CRVTech is run by Ollie Craven, a web developer and programmer who also builds and looks after servers. The person writing your website understands where it lives, how it's deployed and what keeps it running.
Staying independent keeps things direct. You're never passed between departments, decisions get made quickly, and work that doesn't fit a template is welcome rather than awkward.
Projects range from a single website to an application with its own server setup. The approach is the same for both: understand the problem, agree the plan, then build it properly.
